Today after work we headed to the Fair! Joey was so excited he could barely stand it. After packing a few snacks for the stroller we ventured to the fairgrounds. First stop...the animals of course! We peeked at the bunnies, roosters (which Joey loves), a few pigs, sheep, cows, goats and horses.

We then moved on to the infamous kiddie rides. Love that my husband is a trooper and will go on all of them too. Joey picked the llama ride, he rode "Mr. T". Then we proceeded to the airplanes, bear ride and roller coaster. We then finished up by the whole family going on the train ride, which I might add goes around twice!

Grabbed a bite to eat and then found the cat's meow, the $1-for as many times as you want, boy scout inflatable slide castle. Now if you're reading this and thinking about going to the fair, just go here first. Tons of fun!

We heard the Village People in concert playing in the distance, sure makes me miss the days where the concert was part of your admission. Anyone remember that? Always a memory to be made at the fair. Oh, and there was one more thing...daddy rode the mechanical bull!
First he signed the waiver as the "cowboy" grins...

His form seemed hard to beat...but this turn did take him off that bull before the 8 seconds. Maybe some Wrangler's next time honey? XOXO

SO FUN! Looks like a great family outing! Emma got to ride "JJ" the llama again this year. There's something nostalgic about the fair. Fall is definitely in the air!
I do enjoy going to the fair and yes, I remember when the concerts were included in the price of admission. So those are some of my fondest childhood memories - Lane County Fair Eugene, OR
Great post! Love that Tom rode the bull :) I could give him some tips for next year if he wants! I have a little experience in that area...
So good to have dinner together tonight! Love you!
