Merry Christmas!

Happy Holidays!  We wish you a blessed new year and a wonderful 2013! Our villa is well and busy as is yours I'm sure!

Joey is still passionate about soccer and is a big 3rd grader this year. He loves to be outside... fish, hunt, ride his bike, hang in the woods and be with friends. Joey has also found an interest in music and has loved doing the recorder at school and has recently taken up piano!  The slopes are calling him now and he can't wait to head to Mt. Spokane this weekend!

Katie is in preschool 3 days a week and is so fortunate to be with my folks two days a week.  She loves her gym class once a week and is always on the go! She is never but a step behind her big brother. Katie is in to DOLLS, they are put to bed in all sorts of places around our home tucked into their blankies. Both of our kids help us practice our patience and keep us in stitches! xoxo

Tom continues to fish in Alaska, manage rentals and sell a few houses now and then. He is the morning daddy at our house and gets the kids to school each morning. He is an amazing hubby and dad!

I am still at the District Office at Mead serving as a Director of Curriculum and help with assessment. It keeps me busy and on my toes. I'm still trying to find the perfect balance with mommy, wife, and work~  I'll let you know if I figure it out.

Highlights this year were building our new family cabin this summer in Idaho with my folks and visiting cousins, fun family reunion at Loon Lake and celebrating Noni's 75th birthday in Hawaii! A new addition around the home is our new landscape rock, play structure and hot tub in the back yard. Let the memories begin... can't wait for our new adventures in 2013!

Our lives are full and we are so blessed to have wonderful family and friends to enjoy it with. Thank you for your support, love and blessings. Happy New Year!

A fun family trip to Seattle to see the Cunningham's! It was so fun to see their new house!  Yippee!  We visited the Seattle Science Center, rode the monorail and hit Pike Place. Some favorites of course were the butterfly exhibit, the big guitar and the kinectx train! We also went to a fun kid's Halloween Party!

Little behind on blogging... not sure sometimes if facebook "quick posts" are a better fit for the life of a working momma but know some of you only see us here. So a quick update from fall and one of our favorite traditions... Greenbluff! This visit was with our good friends, the Hoglund's!

September...

Ah, the signs it's fall. Work is absolutely packed to the top of my capacity, the weather is warm, yet chilly, and my kids are trying to get back into the routine of school. Well, luckily all is going well for my 3rd grader and my preschooler! Happy Back to School you all!

Joey received a kite a year ago for his birthday... now unfortunately he and daddy picked too windy of a day for its unveiling. But it was fun for a little while! Tom assured Joe that with a little stitching it could be fixed in no time as it took a direct hit on the fire hydrant.

              Katie, here you are asleep when you are 3, below is when you were first born! Joey loved to hold you!  You were so tiny and we loved you so much!

Happy Birthday sweet girl! At 7:59am today, weighing in at 6 pounds, nine ounces, you came into the world. Our lives have been even more blessed ever since.  Thank you for filling our lives with laughter, singing, kisses and hugs. Mommy and Daddy love you to the moon and back!
